    Heyo

Back from the crypt and surgery, slowly coming around to the lifestyle that once was a passion for me.

Hey all, Akira here. I used to frequent the boards often when I was competing around six years ago... before I needed shoulder surgery and had 4 kids. Michigan native here, stopping in to say hi and catch up on what's new with plans to get back into heavy lifting again.

Akira! Good to see you again. Welcome back.

For those who don't know him, Akira is one of the strongest and most knowledgeable guys on the boards. A great asset to any board.

I was just as surprised to see you. Been a few years since you posted here. Is MMI still up and running?

                Impressive bench Akira!

Yea Bass, MMI went gone a while ago and a lot of those guys keep in touch on social engineering sites for the most part.

It seems like (outside of the obvious life changes) the direction for some was to move into the strongman/powerlifting lifestyle, however - it was a big surprise to see that G-S got onstage in a bannana-sling for a bodybuilding event. lol I was very proud of him for doing that, my wife and I have a lot of respect him.
