Right now my current job is sucking big time. Pay is not good anymore, hours suck, just the whole job has gone down the drain and I am barely staying afloat there. I found a few places near me that would hire me as a personal trainer I just need to get certified first. They don't care what cert it is as long as I have one. With my funds being limited I was wondering what is the cheapest and easiest to get then as I get my foot settled down a bit more I would get one of the more respected ones, but until I get my foot in the door I want to go the easiest and cheapest route. Suggestions?

Easiest as in least amount of studying required :stupido2:

thanks in advance

i know theres 2 that u could pass right now, just with what u know now....ill try 2 find them

I took one of the practice tests, well it was 5 questions long and it was a JOKE! LOL

There are a few BS certs you can get online for $99 - like 100 questions and a credit card is all they ask for. A knowledgable consumer will want to know what your cert is though, and will probably avoid people who have those types of credentials.
If you are serious about doing it and think you could get a good clientelle(sp) going quickly it may be worth it to shell out the extra cash and get a real certification, you should recoup that money very quickly once you start training clients.
Thats just my $.02

Well i will be working at a gym and be receiving hourly so it doesnt matter what cet I have as long as I get one. My idea is to get an easy bullshit one then as I progress further along get a more respected one that would require some more work. But I need to get out of my current job and quick! LOL

stout, do those gyms you are looking at training at require you have a B.A. degree and a certification or just a certification??

I want to get into training as well and am curious if most will want a degree along with the certification.

I fuckin hate school but I am almost done, it sucks though!

No degree, this is just a job while in school to keep me afloat. Not really a career move.
