Well a little update to everyone.

Since my bodybuilding show in October, I took a few months off. And I mean completely off... I didn't really watch my diet and didn't lift... So right around late December I re-evaluted my goals and decided I really needed to be leaner than I was in October. Of course while retaining most of my muscle mass.. So I was focusing and actually still am focusing primarily on cardio. and Since Dec 21st I've lost 20 lbs.. I know for a fact some of it is muscle, I'm not as "bulky" as before. But also a good amount is bodyfat.

Well tonight I am getting back into the gym to lift. I'm looking forward to it, though I know my strength has decreased considerably and I don't want that to be discouraging.

At this point, I'm not concerned about being the strongest female in the gym, how much I can bench or squat. Right now I'm all about getting the shape I want. And it isn't going to come to me just because I have a heavy bench.

I am looking to lose about 22 more lbs. It may sound like a lot and when ever I tell anyone that's what I want to lose they look at me like I'm crazy. But I can see where it needs to come off, and it will.

I am looking forward to the soreness I will feel tomorrow morning, I know you all know that feeling and how wonderful it is to "feel" what you did. So I will keep you all posted as I progress on this new fitness journey. Along with pictures I will post!

Take care and train hard! :)

Sometimes I like starting all over again. I just got into the gym about a month ago after nearly 10 months out (not my choice) but boy does it kind of in a strange way, feel good strugling to sit on the shitter after a nice hard squat day!! Good luck C! We'll have to motivate one another. I'm trying to get my mental back into the game before the physical aspect.

good luck . i just recently decided im just to old and stove up to powerlift anymore so i took 2 months off as well i knew that i couldnt maintain that much weight at my age either so i weighed in at 311 pounds at the start of the year and have sine dropped 35 pounds . i want to be a lean 230-240 pounds when all is said and done .
i know asking a womans age or weight is a death sentence lol but if you dont mind shareing it how much do you weigh now ?

Hey we're all family aren't we? LOL I'm 29 years old, I'm 5'6 and as of this morning I weighed 171 lbs. Sure it sounds like a lot but I don't "look" like it. Does that make sense?? Anyway I'm still wanting to lose like 20 more lbs but a lot of that will be muscle, I know it...

Last night my work out was great. I did chest, bi's and tri's and let me tell you, I'm sore today! what I've learned from last night is sometimes you take the gym for granted, just part of your routine, until you step away for a while. You truly appreciate how you feel once you leave.

Oh and the best part, a girl came up to me last night and asked me if it was me that had the bodybuilding picture at the gym desk, I said yes and she looked at me like I was a celebrity... LOL Boy I love that! :)

Ah once again, looking forward to tonights workout! Shoulders and back. :)
