Hello all, I'm 56, been lifting for 30 years and am considering trying a little Test-E to stop the weakening of age. Want to bench 315 again!!!!

what about hrt?

The doctor's in Canada are not big fans of HRT as far as I can tell. There's a cancer scare and not a great deal of knowledge about the impact of hormone replacements - especially in women.

I can discuss it with my doctor, but I don't have a lot of faith in that he will go for it. He has mentioned test increases through the application of some sort of test cream. As you get older, your test levels are supposed to decrease as by increasing the levels beyond the norm, you run into a prostate cancer possibility.

HRT is justified with bloodwork showing decreased testosterone levels and associated symptoms (loss of muscle mass, strength, libido, etc...) as long as there are no probs with the prostate.....so if you met these requirements and want to be stronger, more fit, and have more sex....HRT is where it's at.

Many thanks meateater. I'm seeing my doctor on 27 May. I'll ask then.
