since the early early times hell i dont know how long marrige has been going on sine forever and its always been between a man and a woman,
well this is same sex marrage so i guess the are asking for a special right .

Leviticus 20

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

now tell me now that GOD would make a man born gay, if it is an abomination to him??? I am not going to argue this. It is in black and white.

You can also post scripture about lusting in your heart is the same as committing adultery. Aslo, they stoned children from the Levitican law for talking back to their parents. Should we still practice that?

Actually bodybuilding is considered an underground sport at the competitive level with alot of sketchy behavior. Homosexuality is rampant...so are bisexuals.

I actually dont think you know alot about this subject other than you dont think gays should marry. Why not take some time to educate yourself.

I dont know how much I believe in god (although I actually want to, more than I do) but, I do think it isnt "right" to be gay. If men and woman coming together wasnt an important part of our species, we would all be a-sexual. If someone wants to get married if they are gay let em. they are drawing more attention to it and therefore increasing the "popularity" of it, if you will, when they tell them they cant get married. Two men getting married isnt going to make me gay but, It is obviously not right, in every aspect as far as Im concerned. this is just my opinion and I mean to offend noone.

I will never understand why people have such a big issue with it - if 2 people want to be together then they should be allowed to have the same rights as a couple that anyone else has. No one is asking you to accept the fact that they are together... In some states men and women that live together but aren't married have the same rights as married couples - is that right? They are "choosing" to be that way also - not that being gay is a choice... why would people choose to do something that is going to make them hated by many people, become outcasts from many social circles, and in many cases have them abandoned by their families? That is illogical. Enough younger people commit suicide because they can't deal with the fact that they are having homosexual feelings and are afraid to let it be known - that alone should tell you that they aren't "choosing" to do it... why would they choose to die instead of choosing to be straight?
I have a few friends who are gay - a couple actually, and they just got married over the summer in Canada. Being a supportive friend I went to their wedding reception - and you know what? It was just like any other wedding reception.
As far as "choice" - I don't think you can choose if you are gay or straight... buy you can choose how far "over the edge" you go in terms of expressing it. By that I mean the friends that I have you would never know they were gay unless you talked to them about it - contrary to what most closed minded people would expect they work on cars, like action movies, and fit none of the typical stereotypes... on the other hand you get the guys that walk around in pink poofy shirts carrying toy poodles while wearing elton john sunglasses and falling into every stereotype there is - THAT is a choice. Even my gay friends look at that and say "Damn, what a fag!"
Anyway... Sorry to see we have such a closed minded group on here.

Sorry but politically I think you need something more. HE did just have some indescresions. He did alot of messes up shit. And no I dont think it means he will juice or smoke some refer but he does have character issues.

if you have answered YES to any of the first 4 questions, you are a predjudiced person. so, wouldnt it also be true that if you answered YES to either of the last two that you are also predjudiced? i beleive so. as far as i am concerned, homosexual couples are a group of people, just like heterosexual couples, whites, blacks, men and women.....and they ALL deserve the same rights....

I see what your saying but what do you mean by organized religion? the only problem I have is that the bible states we are to gather together (going to church)

Gathering together is great - the problem I have is when groups take their interpretations of the bible, or whatever book you want to use and create their own set of rules based on what they found in the book... It has been used as a tool to control people for a long time - that is the part I have a problem with.

That is really getting off the point of this thread though - but good tangent I think.
