i need some diet advice

hey everyone its mknpp9, i have a problem i cant seem to find the right diet, ive tried a few things but basically now my diet is i eat 3 big meals and 2 small meals = 5 meals a day for u smart people. i usually try and eat more protein than carbs a day but since im not able to lift for awhile now because of a torn lebra in my shoulder, i try and eat a very low amount of carbs. but i really am looking for a diet for when i get back into it. my goals are to build more muscle and strength and get lean my bf% is around 14% and i wanna get it to around 5 or 6%..........................if you have any advice please let me know thanks
 
For starters I would make all of those meals smaller. If you are looking to drop down to 5-6% bf its going to take some work and a strict diet. What is your diet looking like right now? How many grams of prot, carbs, fat etc..? How much do u weight?
 
i weight 175lbs but as of counting how much protein, carbs and fat i eat i dont really calculate it, but i eat about 2000 calories a day and more protein than carbs or fat

You got to count calories to be succesful. If you don't know what is coming in, how do you know what to adjust. As you count calories you will get used to it and won't have to coutn every day but until you get the hang of what is coming in you HAVE to count cals. No two ways around it.

You can cut BF and gain muscle at one time but for a "newer" person I wouldn't recommend it as you will end up spinning your wheels. I personally think you are lean enough and since it is winter do a lean bulker, then come summer cut.
 
in all seriousness I would bulk. I looked at your pics and you could easily add some major lbs on your frame.

Also i'm almost always bulking:) Well that is until around Jan b/c then I get to fat to look at myself so what do I know
 
I agree, you have to start from somewhere. If you don't know how much your taking in, then how will you know where to go from? I also agree that you should bulk up a bit. Pick any day of your week and write down everything. We'll help you figure it out ;)
 
thanks guys i will right down what i eat. i know i want to put on like 15lbs or maybe even 20 to get bigger im just having trouble doing it cus i dont want to get fat lol. this info is awesome thanks bros
