oh and I think you should do the local show, you are pretty stressed out lately, and you don't need any extra stress the bigger contest would put on you. But then again, what am I too say anything, hell I will never compete and even if I wanted too, I would be laughed off stage with my pathetic physique, your way above me girl!

I have decided to do the local show g4e- the Heavyweights Classic. You are right- I don't need the added stress. I am only doing this for fun basically. I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have as much fun, and wouldn't find it any more fulfilling, if I did the WQ.

I did cardio after I got up today. My legs were soooo sore. Did 30 min on stepper and 20 on treadmill. Now my knee is fucked this evening. It's painful and when I move a certain way, it does not feel right.

Aaron, what's that word- Proprioception? I think that's it. That feels "off" to me. I had that problem after my knee surgery. I used to have to do exercises on the wobble board for it. I am so afraid that I am going to have big problems again. God, I hope not. Any suggestions? Should I go see my physiotherapist you think? Remember, I do not have an ACL in that knee.

Well... best bet would be to go see your therapist again - that would probably be the quickest way to get back on track. If you wanted to work on your own I would recommend doing some single leg balance exercises... I usually have people do things like balancing on one leg and playing catch with a medicine ball, balancing on a half foam roll, single leg squat exercises at the edge of a step - and things like that all that helps regain proprioception. Sorry to hear about the issue though.

Good luck with the show you're gonna do.

Thanks Aaron!! I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens. I won't do any cardio tomorrow or Monday. It's the treadmill that worsened it today, not the stepper. You wouldn't think that, would you?

Does seem strange...but the treadmill has more of an impact component to it.... that could have played a role...

smart move girl, you know we are all behind you

Thanks g4e. I hope that some people don't see it as me chickening out. That's not what I am doing. It is just the best thing for me to do. I have thought long and hard about it.

Taken last week when I worked out early one morning. They are not very good shots, but there they are!

Damn IG...your biceps are crazy. To be honest with you..you have great genetics for bbing. At least you do IMO. You have excellent peaks in your arms, you have excellent legs, shoulder/trap development is excellent. I think your success in bbing lies in the hands of diet. Which of course it does with everyone. Unlike a lot of women I see at local shows, they have so many weak points and honestly I dont think they should even be up there. You babe are different!! ;_)

OMG, thanks for such a wonderful comment :smooch: I want to, more than anything come in as lean and mean as I possibly can this year. Last year was such a disappointment for me. With support from you and everyone else here, I'll kick some ass this year :D

Thank you too Aaron :)

Cardio this am x 40 minutes on elliptical. My knee has really been bothering me. I gotta lay off the stepper for awhile.

I have a doctor's appt this morning. I have a few ugly spider veins on my legs that he's going to inject, so I'll be laid up for the rest of the day. I never asked about cardio/training. I guess I'll have to take a few days off.

I kinda like this pic- makes me look like I have a bit of a taper..lol..a bit chunky though :D

Well my shoulder has something wrong with it. It's like it "catches" and it's very painful when it does. It happens a certain way I move my shoulder, especially when I put it out to the front to lift something. Nothing serious I'm sure, just friggin annoying  I couldn't do any pressing movements at the gym tonight, no lateral raises, close grip bench or DB curls. What a crappy workout :( Here it is.....

BB curls
50 x 10
60 x 6
60 x 3
50 x 7

DB curls
25 x 6 It hurt too much to do more

High Pulley curls
40 x 10

50 x 3

Hammers
20 x 8
15 x 10

Pushdowns

Upright rows

50 x 10
60 x 6

Standing calf raises
150 x 6
120 x 6
90 x 6
60 x 6

Swiss ball crunches
3 sets 12

Bench leg raises
3 sets 10

Tomorrow is leg day depending on how me knee is :(

dang take some time off. Seriously. I know it's easier to do then say but we always look back and say why did I train that was so dumb. You'd be better off just taking some time off. Maybe find a pool or something and go swimming for a week or so. That would keep you in great shape

Thanks Matt. Nah, I'll be ok. With my knee, I have to expect things like that from time to time- goes with the injury I have. It's cool :) And as for the shoulder, I know it's not something serious, just seriously annoying!! It'll straighten out over the weekend no doubt. If not, I have a massage Monday morning and he'll fix it right up for me :)

I really don't need any time off. I am right back in the groove now with my diet and I seemed to have dropped a few pounds so all is good. I wore a pair of pants this morning that I couldn't squeeze my fat ass into 2 weeks ago so I feel like a million bucks :D

Cardio this morning x 35 minutes on elliptical. Also did some ab and ham work on the ball.

Having my cheat meal this evening and going out drinking and dancing tonight-woohoo!! :40oz: :dancing: I'll be doing cardio over the weekend to make up for that!!

I never have trouble squeezing into pants. I always wear things with an elastic band:):) Or I buy jeans a size to big b/c my ass and legs won't fit in the same size my wait will

take it ez girl we don't need u injured

Thanks babe- I'll be careful :)

LMAO!!! Well, when you're a girl it's all about how ya look ;) and I look best in form fitting clothes..LOL..I will never wear baggy clothes again.

I decided to take the evening off from training. I will do cardio over the weekend though.
