Employee Spying

Well I had an interesting situation. Seems that one of the employees has a grudge with my boss. So this employee downloaded something called 007 spy software. This is software you use to get screen prints of employees it also comes with a keystroklogger. In which if i typed the Admin password in he would have it. He waited till me and my boss were away from our desks then installed it on our pc's. Then he had the logs e-mailed to himself. WTF??? I came in the next day and found this immediatly (always scan my pc). This guy is in building maintence. Not cool. Well he was very supprised when he came in and found a hole where his pc usto be. He marched up to my office. He asked about his pc. I told him he no longer had rightes to a pc and he could use the volunteer id from now on to get his e-mail from home. Also let him know he was under investigation by the CEO for tampering with CO. property. He said he didn't have to take this from me and lunged at the pc and made a fist at me lol. I quickly stude up and said ya feel froggy jump! He left pissed. He's still employed here which suprises me. Man some people.

Yeah he's a friend of one of the suit's in the office up front. But I gotta hand it to my boss he stuck up for me and said that I was in the right taking away all his access to pc's here. My boss was kinda targeted to since he had the 007 spy software on his pc. What's really bad is wouldn't you think that the IT department would find this on their pc's? We have no idea what poped into this guy's brain.

If you dig a little deeper, bro, he may have violated a few FCC violations as well. Tell him that he'll be under the microscope for a while. That should scare him shitless.

They Caught him! Today they announced that this person no longer works here. He's also facing charges. They don't want us to talk to much about it because of the possible law suit. He's toast, i'm soo glad! The last company I worked for used similar software legaly but you had to sign saying you know that your being spyed on. This guy wasn't even in IT. He purchaced this software for like 40.00 and just decided to spy on me and my boss to get the admin password and access to the servers. So glad he's gone!
