Ok, if you are going to take up a piece of cardio equipment, shouldn't you actually use it to do cardio??? As in, get your heart rate up?? Or get the fuck off and let me use it...LOL...from my vantage point on the treadmill today, I could see everyone on the steppers/ellipticals and bikes. Well for christ sake, I get my heart rate up more than they do by just breathing :p And the handles are to balance yourself with, not to lean ALL your weight on while you take little baby steps....Geeeeeeeez. I wanted to get off and go over to half a dozen off them and make them actually break a sweat!! I bet some of them would never be back.

I know what you're talking about... I hate it when I am on the stairmaster doing it right - not touching down at the bottom or the top, and using the handles with just the tips of my fingers on one hand so I don't fall over - and some clown hops on the one next to me cranks the level up so high they can't possibly do it, leans all their weight onto the handles, and procedes to do 2 inch ministeps at the top of the machine only! The best part is when you end up getting leaner and leaner but for some strange reason they stay exactly the same!
 
LOL....I know. These are the people who always complain "I CAN'T lose any weight" and are adamant that they cannot give up eating bread, or cheese, or something!! Pisses me off to NO end :D
 
MmMMmMMMmmm cheese... that reminds me - I had the best cheese bread last night!
 
I wouldn't work at if I had to do it in my house. I'm a gym kinda chick ;)
 
Yeah about 70% of the people you see in the gym are there for the hell of it. They want to lose weight etc.. but they lack the desire to get the job done. I have trained myself not to even look at them cause it upsets me so much..
