Yep, I'm gonna start a new one. My knee and shoulder are both still recovering, so it's not gonna be too exciting for you guys to read, but it's a start :)

I have to wait until Monday to do any upper body work, as I had my shoulder injected Friday past.

As for my knee, the weight is even lighter than usual for now. I can squat to parallel on the Smith machine. I can do leg extensions no prob, but lunges are out for awhile yet. Lying ham curls are iffy- sometimes good, sometimes not. No prob with SLDL's.

So this morning I did 35 min on elliptical. Some ab work- crunches on ball and bench leg raises. And some cable work for legs- kickbacks and ab/adductors. Felt great :)

Cardio this morning- 25 on bike. Some cable work for legs.

I was late this morning, I had to go later in the morning after my first meal. My hubby had to line up at 6 a.m. to get tickets to a concert for my daughter, and I had to go take his place after my daughter went to school, so he could go to work. Thank god I was only there 1/2 hour, cause my knee and my arm are aching like hell today. Must be the rainy weather :)
 
First thing this morning, cardio x 20 min on elliptical. Cable work for legs and abs.

Diet has been spot on all week.

Buffness is gonna train me starting next week- yay!!! :) I am so excited. I am soooo ready for this.
 
No training or cardio today.

OMG, I am beyond excited..LOL..I trained today for the first time since I dunno when. I had a cortisone injection in my shoulder a week ago Friday (the second one) and, I had NO PAIN!!!! Not one bit! Nil, nada, nothing-YAY!!!!

I just have to pace myself now and make sure I don't go to hell with it in the first few days. But it felt sooooo good. And I wasn't using 10 lb DB's either..LOL..Not near as heavy as before, but not little baby weights either. I did two pressing movements and not a thing did I feel!!

I am STOKED!!!!

And buff, the program ROCKS!! I am gonna love it :)

Can ya tell I'm happy? :D
 
This will be my comparison pic. I am hoping to see big changes in the next 6 weeks. I'm too fat. If I can get 10 lbs off, I'll be starting my comp diet 18 lbs lighter than last year- that's huge!!!!!
 
OK, yesterday I trained again. And, OMG, I was SO excited!!!!

I have hardly lost any strength and I have NO pain- everything was perfect!!!! Rack deads- I lifted 250. For having so much time off from training, I am sooooo pleased!!!! I need to break 300- then I will be more than happy!!!

The knee felt great doing leg press!

I can feel a difference already in my clothes!!

Wheeeee!!
 
Did the shits with my diet over the weekend :( I wonder sometimes if I have it in me to compete again.

Training this afternoon- went well. Flat BP did aggravate my shoulder a bit. I think though, that it's just a matter of getting used to doing it again. And dropping the weight back a little. Although I was as pleased as shit that I could lift it :D

Saw my surgeon and I go back to work on Monday. I start off an easeback- 4 hours and increase as tolerated. My doc encouraged me to find another nursing job that is less strenuous and where you are not on your feet as much. I hope the hell I don't need that for awhile. He's less than encouraging..lol..but he says it's because he knows how bad my knee is. But I'm tough, I'm not ready to give in yet :D
