My apartment's management group saying that the washing machine and tractor tire has to be removed from my back patio in 2days otherwise I WILL PAY THEM to remove it. First off I don't think 2days if that much notice especially in the middle of the week.

So I called them and left a message saying i'd be more than happy to remove the washing machine, but I use the tire for strongman training and I really need it. So I hope we can work something out.

Now here's the thing I have a neighbor across the street that has a big ass trampoline out in there yard, what is the freaking difference. I even have the tire rolled up on the concrete patio connected to my house.

I am going to fight this to the death. Hell I will lock the damn tire to the door with a chain if I have to haha Not really, but i'm curious to see what everybody's thoughts are on this. I mean it's not like it's laying out in the yard or anything

Sounds like you pissed a neighbor offf to me :)

yeah maybe. I dunno why this just started though b/c I haven't even trained with the tire yet , and it's been awhile since I pulled the washing machine.

I can see why the washing machine needs to go b/c it looks pretty trashy(I actually just took it down to the garbage), but I have the tire up on the patio where it doesn't bother anything and doesn't even take up but a 2x4 foot space going along the wall.

I dunno I will just talk to the management tomorrow, and hopefully we can work something out. If not I will call my dad and see what he thinks.
I just went through the lease and it just talks about trash being taken out and what not. It definately doesn't say anything about tires haha Hell it doesn't say anything about having these out in the yard or on the patio. Not one damn word

Also there is no way I can take it anywhere by wednesday except the back of my truck:) maybe i'll just ride around with it for awhile haha.

as long as its not in plain veiw when driving by, i dont see the problem...they prolly dont want it there so that it looks 'clean'...(speaking from a maintenence guys position, as i currently work as one)

they will consider it as trash and therefore you a voiding your lease agreement

well it is in plain view I guess. Hmm this sucks. What if I covered it with a tarp or something:)

Here's the thing there is no fucking way I can get this out of here in 2days. I would feel bad throwing it away as it was just given to me 2days ago, and I have no where to take it. That is unless they want me to just roll it down to the dumpster

Matt the first impression I get of the manager is he's abouts 65 a serious redneck, wearing overalls all the time even when going to an upscale restaurant which for him would be a sonic.

I would probably tell him to go get F*cked.

As long as you are a good tenant and pay up on time and all that I'm sure they'll let you work something out. They like to keep reliable people around.

Are people allowed to have planters with flowers on their patios? If they are then get some big flower pots and put them in the center of the tire. Tell them it is a planter :D

PTA we have never even been close to being late paying bills.

And yes ppl do keep flowers out side haha

I hope they call me back today otherwise they are expecting me to have it moved by tomorrow. I guess i'll throw a chain around it and put a lock on it so they can't take it:)

still no call from the management. I guess i'll call them again tonight if I don't hear from them and say something like I hope they do not move my tire until they talk to me, as I had to pay for it so it is my property. Or something like that I dunno

Any thoughts

Tell them you're going to use the tire for a flower pot.

haha I dunno it's pretty damn big for that. I just will be very pissed if they take it without my consent b/c it's actually like they are stealing from me. They have no idea if I had to buy that tire or not.

I just wish they would call me back so we can get it straightened out

nope. I actually talked to them this morning. The lady was very nice and a lot more respectful than the letter she left showed. She said that she talked to the property owner for me and tried to get him to just let me cover it up, but instead he is making a new rule that only grils and patio furniture are allowed on the patio.

Then I told her there is no way I can get that out of here by today she said that was fine and I can take a week or so.

I'm pissed that I can't keep it here, but what can ya do.

Only spot I have for it is upstairs, but the only problem there is when I try to bring it down I will be killed

Ok here's an idea, put a cushion inside the tire and say it's a lounger and put some charcoal inside the washing machine and say it's a smoker. :laugh2:

Put one piece of wood over it and bam...patio table. Put shit on it too, make it believable.
