Ok what exactly are the benefits of Animal Pack? I mean, what would it help me accomplish if I bought it?

It says this on the bottle....

Description
Pure power. Pure strength. Pure animal intensity. For hard-core bodybuilders and strength athletes, nothing beats Animal Pak for maximizing gains in muscle mass, strength and performance. There is no better nutritional weapon available to fuel intense workouts. Spawning many imitators, the original Animal Pak is still loaded with the most advanced, highest quality bodybuilding nutrients. Each Pak contains a powerful combination of cutting-edge mega-cycle vitamin & mineral complexes, performance enhancers, lipotropics, digestive enzymes and high potency energizers. Animal Pak consists of a perfectly balanced, time-released formula that is easily assimilated by your body for perfect bioavailability and optimum performance. There can only be one animal in the gym. Make sure you train with it. Two key anabolic hormones are testosterone and growth hormone. The first generation of testosterone-boosting prohormones like androstenedione shook the world two years ago!

Basically sums it up for you.
You get the great benefits for a daily vitamin
It has Aminos in it. "performance enhancers"
The digestive aids will help break down foods and help with absorption.
Lipotropcs - fat metabolism

It basically gives you a lot of stuff you would need if you were a hard core bodybuilder

So should I get it or not? I'm not even close to being a Hardcore Body Builder, but I have been working out pretty intensely.

If you think you need a lot of the things in cluded in the packs then yes get it. But alot of people will also suggest just a good daily vit, instead. It does cost lot and there are a lot of pills to swallow. And it you are lifting intesnse - I consider that hardcore. You aren't using pick weights and are sore the next day right? ;)

Chad, Animal Pak is a great multivitamin that also contains Amino Acids (which most multis do not). All and all I consider it a very well rounded vitamin. I take it myself and I can notice a difference between it and other vitamins. The only thing I disagree with about the directions for taking it, is it says to take only one pak on non-training days. I actually take 2 everyday due to the intensity of my training. :) It's rather expensive, but I consider it worth the price. Though it sucks trying to take because there's like 9 pills in a pack I believe....

I think unless you are a competitive BB or PL you might want to stick with a normal multi. If you are eating a well rounded diet you will get plenty of nutrients.

This is very true........

I took it a while back, I went through about half the container. I didn't notice anything different about my workouts to tell you the truth. But then again I was only taking one packet before I went to the gym, the serving size is 2 packets... that's a lot of shit to swallow.

The only difference to me is I was burping that vitamin aftertaste the whole time in the gym.

I took them for a while, they are a good all around vit plus aminos like AJ said. I know they are def better then most of the shit out there, some crappy ones actualy contain plastic. They are a bitch to take each day though.

If you want a cheaper route and something that lasts longer go with either a multivitamin by NOW Foods, ON's "Opti-Men", AST's Multi is decent as well.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

As a couple of you may know, my diet is the hardest thing I can think of for me to control, with wanting to be a chef and all, I like really rich, robust, foods that make you smile when you eat them............ God I sound like Martha Stewart!

Anyway, I still consider my diet to be in crap shape, although it has improve a lot over the past few months.

Thanks again.
