I almost got jacked by a homeless woman

This is going to be the story of the year I assure you!!

I went for a drive downtown this past week to pick up the paper and get a coffee at my favorite coffee shop (something like 5 bucks for a damn medium, but it is good lol)

It is around 7AM, people are walking the streets, businessmen going to work, suits and ties, woman dressed up so damn sexy too.

I approach a light, and I see this poor woman asking for money, she has a shopping cart with all of her life belongings I guess.

I roll down the passenger window and I call her over:

Me: Hey come here!
her: yes?
me: here take 2 dollars to help you out


She looks at me and says out loud:

her: take your fucking tooney and shove it!! I need 20.00 fucking dollars NOT a tooney (tooney is 2.00)

I look at her in disbelief!!! And I felt so damn embarrassed that she was yelling at me, then the other me kicks into action:

me: WHAT!?!? Are you kidding me?? You want my car too?? YOU WANT MY CAR TOO!!!


she just walked back to her shopping cart and was giving me the evil eye as I drove away.

I swear!!! OMG I was so damn mad!!!


WTF is that 2.00 i was giving her for fucking free!?!?!? I was trying to do a good thing and I get slapped across the face!!


I cannot believe it sad.gif I probably give out around $10.00 per week to homeless as I walk the street from time to time. I mean I spend 150.00 bucks in one night for drinks and munchies with my girlfriend, i feel the homeless should get theirs too. I am not rich by no means either, I work hard for my tooneys biggrin.gif

In China Town , I was walking with the lady , and these teenage guys were giving $5.00 to a homeless dude if he would kick that crap out of another homeless dude .
Pretty funny shit , but sad at the same time ..

1 guy that was begging me for money for food came up too me .
I offered to take him to a beef-joint right where we were instead of money , he backed off like a turtle retracting his fat head !!!
Most of them want money for wine/liquor.

isn't the average a bum makes in NYC like $60,000-$80,000 a year or something rediculus?

At least she didn't try and dent your car with her shopping cart.

Those numbers are not that far off. Begging is an actual profession that makes more than some college graduates.
 
^Yeah, i hear they dressup like bums and make like up to 500. a day and then they park their Cads or Benzo in a safe get away location, lol! Me, i pick the bums i hand $ out to. Never one that asks.
 
Never give to the homeless, let them suffer. Their own faults put them on the street, and they can starve to death for all I care. Fuck em.
 
They are actually passing a law in a city close to mine that will fine a person for giving cash to pan-handlers.....
 
I usually wait till the light turns green and stick some money out the window and say "Here! hurry hurry hurry!" and as they wobble over there I haul ass off laughing while they yell at me! :flipoffha
 
Damn you guys are fucking mean, what would u do if you were poor. Did you ever think that some of the people cannot get jobs. Also some of them are mentally ill.
 
well here is a story about my friend:

I work with a 58year old guy with Parkinsons (sp). He has no money to his name and rides the bus 2hrs to work everyday. Well one day on his way home a woman came out of a gas station and walked up to him asking for a dime. He looks at her and says "you know this is your lucky day. Here I have a quarter". She takes the quarter and says "no not that type of time". Then she threw the quarter back at him and walked on down the street.

For those of you who didn't catch on she was looking for a dime bag of weed. haha I thought that was pretty funny when he told me

A small amount are. MOST are drug addicts and or alkies. That is their fault.

If I was poor I would get a job, SOMEONE will hire you. But they would rather beg because begging pays better than working. I got two jobs, why cant they get one?

There is a place in NC called LaborFinders where you can show up in the morning and they will place you in a job for the day and pay you in cash at the end. They will take almost anyone, but yet in that same town (Fayetteville) there are so many homeless bums that are begging for money. And they spend the money on crack. Fuck em.
 
Dude u think poor are educated enough to know this bout finding jobs. Plus alot of them have felonies so they cnanot get jobs. I mean whatever it is an endless cycle of poverty in america usually.

Yes they do know, they are just lazy, which is why they are on the streets in the first place. Most poverty is self-induced and I work too hard to feel bad for a lazy degenerate.
 
You feel sorry for felons? Like I said, they did it to themselves...
 
Dude is an endless cycle of poverty they are not given the oppurtunities and the environment to suceed. Your environment effects you.
 
I gave only one bum in my life money. He had a sign that said

I need money for alchol and cigs.

Honesty is hard to find these days lol.
Also that is how alcohol was spelt. ha
 
This guy and girl walk up to me, both bums.. he says "you got any change so she can get drunk and i can get laid?" Hah! yah, heres 50 cents! "sweet thanks man"

The homeless have a very special place in my heart and that is perhaps a weakness the yin and the yang I guess.
I was practically homeless around 5 years ago, made some bad decisions and took me a LONG time to bounce back. I would have never made it back if it was not for my family. I think I would have committed suicide, this is a true story.

Now a days I am ontop and I plan on staying on top.

Speaking of jobs, Cruci, I hold a pretty nice and well build resume (CV), but you know EVEN with all of the administrative accounting background I hold, it took me 3 months this past summer to find work. I was laid off from the bank I was working for, and I started searching....had tons of interviews, and I have to admit that I was VERY selective...even to a point where I turned down SEVERAL good openings.
I landed a dream job 2 weeks ago, and one that has me entertaining the idea of not pursuing the Fire Department career.
But I tell you, 3 fucking months without work, was driving me nuts!!!

Homeless people can be dicks as well, you just have to be careful lol.

When I was younger, probably around the age of 12 or so, I remember giving money to several poor people. There was one guy who was very grateful, I remember I would always talk to him because I felt bad. One day my step sister and I were going to see him because we wanted to take him to get some pizza. I can't remember if he wasn't there or he refused our offer. Either way, after that I never saw him again. He was one of the nicest guys I've met who was homeless.

LMFAO!! I couldn't stop laughing upon reading this, that is SO wrong lol.

It was a few years back I was at a drive thru, and there was a homeless black man outside. I guess I shouldn't really call him homeless, he looked perfectly normal to me. He came up to me and asked for a dollar. Normally I say I have no change, but for some reason I decided to take a chance. Ha, well, soon after I gave him a dollar, he took off running and didn't say thank you, LOL. I was so fuckin' pissed, he totally ruined my night lol. After that I haven't given a homeless person money since.

There's another incident a few weeks ago where I was walking downtown, and some homeless man was sitting on the sidewalk. He asked me if I had a penny. WTF? I asked him "what are you going to do with a penny? You might as well ask for $20 bucks instead" lol. Who asks for a penny when they're homeless??
