it's a process.Your body has 2 reconigze the total amount of cals youre taking in, it will adapt and then we start fuckin with it..give it time..it's very important that u eat the same foods, same amount of cals EVERYDAY,..thats when measuring ALL your food comes into play..
p.s.DO not post pics until youre done..just send them to Fred and I.
OK, here goes.
I've been on OLY's prescribed diet for the last five days. It's taken that long to make the adjustment and get organized with the cooking and daily preparation, but I've got it down now. The hardest part is eating all the food. I have been using protein shakes for some time now, and cutting them out has been hard. Eating every 2-2 1/2 hours is difficult, but I can certainly feel the difference. With the moderate carbs and the kind and timing of the carbs OLY has me on, my weight initially went up about 2 pounds (I guess from the extra water from carb intake) went from 265 to 267...not what I was planning on...but I said, "I'll have faith in the man and do exactly has he says. So I continued to woof down the food. I stopped the weights on Thursday and just did cardio, because 2BIGFRED had a DC workout prepared for me to start on Monday (today...I'll get to that next:repukeWell I weighed this morning and voila', i was at 263! (I make sure I weigh the same time of day, each time) My metabolism is already kicking in from processing all that food. OLY, you da man!
Training:
Did my first DC workout tonight that 2BIGFRED put together for me. Thanks 2BIGFRED:flipoffha It felt great, but it hurt! The only thing I did not plan for was the time. I gave myself 75 minutes and needed 90, the gym closed and kicked me out. I didn't get to do the back thickness part of the workout. But, it's the first one. I've learned. It's been awhile since I've done barbell work. I've been doing dumbell work for the last several years, due to shoulder injury, however, I worked through it safely in the power rack, and was surprisingly stronger than I thought I would be. Needless to say, it kicked my ass!
With the combo of the carbs OLY has me eating and the heavy training 2BIGFRED has me doing, this experiment is going to be awesome! I can't wait!
Gotta get some beauty sleep! Doin' some cardio tomorrow.
FRED knows training...big assed white boy.

Yeah, I'm feelin' it today! I slept late this morning. My wife had a hard time waking me, so she just shut the door and let me sleep about an hour more.
update us on your workout today bro
I'm hangin' in there OLY! I'll keep you updated. I don't think the scale is telling the same tale as the mirror. I'll be getting that BodPod body comp test soon to start comparing. I'll let you know the results of that as soon as I get it.regarding nutrition, i need u to report back to me every 3 weeks, or if there is any drastic changes,,as long as ur losing and not hitting plateau i wont change your diet..keep up Beasty.
Shit came up with my business yesterday (I usually workout at night) so I got some good sleep and worked out this morning.
It was much quicker than workout 1, but by the time I hit quads, I was hurtin'I usually do legs by themselves. Never did sumo presses before, and could really feel them! I've gotten really close to :repuke: each workout!
My upper body was pumped for two days! I'm lovin' it.
Now that I have my base weights to start from, I think I'm going to be able to add some sinificant weight to the workouts. Joints are a little sore from some of the movements, but I'll get past that in the next week or so.

My hams are tight as shit today! I hate that feeling, but love it too. Can't bend down to pick up shit!!!Quads I can handle, hams are a bitch! Calves and bis still feel pumped.
OK. I had one hell of a workout tonight. Like I said last time, I haven't been benching for years: 1) because I've been working out solo for the last 12-15 years; 2) shoulder injury; 3) just using #1 and #2 as an excuse not to bench
However, everything still seems to be gettin stronger, and I'm clean. Bench went from 225 for 6/4/3 (13 total) to 230 for 9/4/2 (15 total). If you look at it in total pounds lifted, its 2,925 in 3 rest/pause sets to 3,450 in 3 rest/pause sets. 18% jump in 15 days. I'm just trying to beat the last workout, even if it's by only one extra rep, or 2.5-5 lbs, or both.
Each of the excercises are getting stronger so far. I'm still tighter, and getting thicker. I know it's only been a little more than 2 weeks, but my body is really responding to this kind of training, and especially this kind of nutrition. Can't wait for the next workout. I'll be doing more cardio this week, so I should see some more changes.
Till next time!
