First off, Obongo is worth millions.......................MILLIONS, so he doesn't relate to everyday working class americans, he doesn't. He has NEVER authored a bill, or anything to try and keep companies from moving jobs overseas, but now all of a sudden he is concerned about it? Bullshit. On a personal note. Did you know that Obongo's half brother in Kenya, HALF BROTHER, lives on less than 1 dollar a day while Obongo lives his multimillion dollar lifestyle? He doesn't give 2 shits about his own blood, what in the world makes one think he will give 2 shits about you?

Bush is/was a fucking disaster, the only true candidate for change was Rep Ron Paul, but the american people fucked that one up. Mccain is bad, there is no question about that, but Obongo would be far worse for our nation.

I'm not sure what to make of Obama's brother??? But I agree with the major gist of your post, I favor Obama over McCain but Ron Paul made a lot of very good points that hit true to home.

both candidates suck, but for the betterment of the country i dont see why u think a democrat would be better then a republican

both partys talk a bunch of shit that doesnt ever happen, but certain things happen all the time when either person is in office and the most positive things come from republicans
 
Sarah Palin as VP will insure McCain his spot in the white house plain and simple. I don't think McCain is a great candidate, but far better than anyone the democrats have offered since JFK. ;)

The thought of a democratic president with no morals or principles (which is what "liberal" means these days) in the white house turns my stomach. And saying that obama is NOT a muslim is wishful thinking. Much evidence points to the fact that he is, in fact, a closet muslim.

McCain my personal income tax will be cut by 325.00, Obamba 1200.00 now if I made over 2mil a year McCain would give the biggest cut.
 
so we talk about how obama is a millionaire and can not relate to us common folk? what do you suppose mccain is? starving? as i recall his net worth hovers around 40 million and his wife's is around 100 million. morals? i think the most immoral thing that has been perpetrated on the country lately is this war in iraq! and as i recall it was our current president that perpetrated it!

do you see any of the obama voters making up names for mccain? implying with no proof that mccain is some kind of closet weirdo. it is a poor arguement that resorts to name calling, innuendo, generalizations. are all dems liberals? is that bad? am i a liberal? hardly! as lifts says, that is why it is best not to get caught up in threads of this kind, this is the same as it was when the iraq war started, remember that guys? when all of us that were against it were branded as unpatriotic liberal tree huggers. i can not say that i am terribly excited by any of the candidtates including ron paul (who never had even the slightest of chances) but i sure know what i do not want to happen, more bush polices. oft times there is one pushbutton issue that decides the election, for me it is the war. i will vote for whomever imo will end this war as soon as reasonably possible given the unwinnable nature of it. and please, lets not hear the same old drivel about if we do not fight the terrorists over there we will have to fight them here.

this is not so much a debate since most debates someone wins, neither side here is going to change their minds. the flamers just try to stir the pot, the conservatives have their minds made up as do the folks on the other side.

Obama will end the war as quickly as possible, McCain will need to end the war because this useless, wasteful war has lost all support except from the most daft in our country.


I want thank everyone for keeping this civil, on many boards you can't have a political thread without it getting locked. Even though I disagree with many of you, I respect your right to your opinion. And most will probably agree regardless who wins the election none of us will actually know what their going to do for a couple of years. Shit tomorrow is 9/11:(
 
People need to look into this Iraq fiasco a little harder and see just what countries benefit from it. What companies are making billions and billions from it? Who really has the interest of Iraq at the forefront? I mean, the country only sits some of the richest oil fields in the world. I am sorry my friends, it makes for good commentary on the evening news to hear Obongo say he will end it, but truth is, it has gotten so big, and so intertwined with other nations, and other nations financial being that 1 person saying he will end it is foolish and just not possible.

i do not think that any of us are naive enough to think that if obama is elected he will just order the troops home. even aside from issues of stability in the region there are issues of troop security during a withdrawal to be concerned with. most folks think we are going to be there a while no matter who wins, i feel that obama will get us out faster than mccain. frankly whoever gets the job is going to be saddled with a nightmare of republican/bush origin, maybe it would be best to let mccain take the fall for it but then more troops would die.

i would guess that the country that stands the most to gain is the good old US, service compaies such as halliburton, arms and munitions suppliers, military contractors. of course your basic run of the mill middle class family is left with the tab.

very extreme change is needed. The democratic process has failed, it's done and over with. Thomas Jefferson was for individual liberties when he wrote the constitution and that is what paul is for. Thomas Jefferson said that the democratic process only works for 30 some years then it fails because of majority corruption. Just like it is now, history always repeats itself. Paul says the same.

democratic process just doesnt work because after it works for electing people, people assume that they should be able to vote on laws that effect the minority. The happiness of the minority is destroyed by the power of the majority. So people are always being fucked. Simple example. no smoking in bars and dry counties. Crazy religious fuck majorities can make it so no business can sell alcohol in the whole county and if your pulled over with more than the alloted alcohol you want, you go to jail. This is nonsense, there is no logical/smart reason why this is allowed. This is why there needs to be extreme change. It's not reasonable to lock someone in prison for smoking flowers. To which they can't get a job once they get out, can't own a home cause they cant get a mortgage. This destroys peoples lives and it really makes no sense at all why it does.

i dont know what's so extreme about less laws, more freedom, balancing the budget, ending the war, less taxing, free market capitalism, ending prohibition of drugs, letting the states decide on major issues, etc etc.

each of these items has proven themselves to work time and time again.

People today are to PC, to scared the say what they feel, act extra nice to black people because they talk shit about them behind their backs. For those same hypocritical reasons people want to be humanitarians, they want everyone to have a house, everyone to be happy. I wish that that's how it could be completely, but in reality, that's not how things work. Productive members of society can no longer hand over their productivity to non productive members of society. Things have slowly started to colapse since it's started and it is now getting out of hand, we are no longer #1 in the world and it's the gov't's arrogance and the people's apathy to blame

1) Obama's direct relations to african leaders, and the Congo is a part of Africa. He is not an African American by any means.
2) Obama's relishment of having "inhaled" weed, vis-a-vis "Hitting the Bong" ...Obongo...get it?

There is now a lawsuit filed that is challenging Obongos birthplace. He can't even provide proof that he was even born in the United States which would automatically disqualify him from running for president.

If John McCain can't organize an efficient campaign, if he's afraid to

That right there JB is the bottom line. He had several opportunities to burn this fool alive, and he either passed by choice or was just too stupid to notice the window given him. Obongo had his hand directly in this subprime mortgage mess along with Sen Dodd. Obongo was a trial lawyer who filed suit against citicorp because they would not give mortgages to subprime customers. The donations to Obongo from the disgraced Fannie Mac ceo, Mccain should have jumped all over this but he didn't.

So if your parents raise you as a youth to believe in something and when you become an adult you renounce what you were taught, your beliefs don't change? Islam is not a race, it is a religion, and to them they only call people infidels who do not believe as they do (not White people as you said.) Christians call those who do not believe as they do heathens (or something along those lines.) The only religion that makes hateful statements about people's ethnicity is Judaism. People who are not ETHNICALLY Jewish are called "goyim" or "goy." To a lot of orthodox Jews, people who convert to the religion are not "true Jews."
