My new hobby of playing guitar is something i wish i would of picked u at a younger age. I have been playing for 2 1/2 months can play all the major scales front and back. Can play the rhythm to a dozen songs, play all the major and minor bar chords and sevenths. I sit and play for like 3-4 hours in a day everyday, it is great hobby it gets your mind working. Anyone else play?
 
umm in the first on i said i was going to start to play now i am playing
 
I have a guitar, when i get in the mood ill play for a few days in a row then ill get busy and not play for months, but it does get your mind goin to try and learn a good song that you heard. i agree i wish i woulda started when i was a lot younger and had more free time to just jam for hours a day.
 
The thing with hobbies like guitar is that it's never to late to start and get good at.
 
I never learned the scales or chords and Im still a pretty decent guitar player. I need to go back to the basics sometime though. Definately wouldnt hurt anything. Want some good inspiration for playing guitar read Slash's biography lol..that guy had a crazy life. Even before he was in Guns n' roses
 
I read slash's book it kicked ass. Slash is the man
