Yeah, I know what you mean.
Before I went to jet engine school in the Air Force, my Commander said I had to be the right weight for my height or I couldn't go. I am 6' even, and in the Air Force you have to be under 203 if you are six foot.
I weighed 212 and dieted for 3 weeks but only got down to 207.
I told the Commander, "Are you kidding me?"
"I'm squating 225 for reps, have a 32" waist, and a 50" chest, you're going to say I'm overweight?"
They measured my neck (18") and because of some waist to neck ratio I was allowed to go.
Of course, while there I stuffed myself and lifted 3 hours 6 days a week for 5 1/2 months.
I was 215 when I returned, had squatted 265 for 7, and did six reps with 1005 lbs on the standing calf raise with free weight.
Weight/height ratios are a bitch though, especially for weight lifters with a lot of muscle mass.
