A couple Recipes

I posted this in the nutrition section too but this forum seems to be the busiest.

Protein Pancakes- The numbers may be a little different depending on the brand of protein you use etc.

80g dry oatmeal-312cal, 11.4g pro, 5.9g fat, 54.6g carb
2 scoops protein-212 cal, 40.6g pro, 1.9g fat, 7.7g carb
150g lowfat cottage cheese-129cal, 25.5g pro, 0.5g fat, 4.1g carb
200g Egg whites-102cal, 21.8gpro, 0.0g fat, 0.0g carb

Totals 755 cal, 99.2g pro, 8.3g fat, 66.3g carbs

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until fully mixed, cook and enjoy. Dont worry about the cottage cheese you cannot taste it at all I promise. I also use some sugar free syrup.


Turkey Chili

Ingredients
1 jar fresh tomato and basil tomato sauce. I use barilla
420cal, 18g pro, 72g carb, 12g fat, 3200mg sodium

1 large can 28oz crushed red tomatoes. Cal 175, 7g pro, 28g carb, 0g fat, 1590mg sodium

1/2 bag frozen chopped onion( I get mine from krogers but u all might not have kroger where u live) 60 cal, 0g pro, 12g carb, 0g fat, 60mg sodium.

1bag frozen green peppers- 70cal, 0g pro, 14g carb, 4g fat, 35mg sodium

1 can light red kidney beans(drained)

3lbs ground turkey-2262 cal, 431g pro, 0g carb, 46g fat, 832g sodium

1/2-1teaspoon chopped garlic to taste
3-4 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoon ground pepper
8oz water

Directions
Cook turkey in pan and drain. Add all the ingredients and let simmer for 3 hours, stirring ocassionally.
Makes approx 9lbs of chili

sodium-163.3(depending on the type of seasoning used)
 
Just working and going to school man. Full time for both and I work third shift so all my free time is sleeping, working out, or homework. It sucks lol

those are just the numbers off the recipe but his recipe calls for ground chicken and I know that 8oz ground chicken has around 50grams protein so a lb of ground chicken is going to be over a hundred. I dont know I just make the shit and eat it lol. This dude knows his shit for sure. He heads up the Mr. Ohio, Mr. Cincinnati and the Monter Mash. dude is in his 40s and walks around at 4% pretty much year round cuz his wife likes it lol. Totally all natural too, he looks down upon the use of AAS.

8oz = 50, so 1 lb = over 100? :eek: LOL bustin your balls bro...I get your point. :p I just wanted to point out that ground turkey does NOT have that much protein as you stated. 1lb of ground turkey|chicken has around 90-105 g's of protein...depending on the brand. Thats a big diff from 144g brutha. ;)
