Ah, got you now, but they never just rolled in, it took 11 months from the D-Day landings to get to Berlin, whereas, the whole of mainland Euprope fell in less time.

When I was a lifeguard years ago, I met a man who went through the Darden Forest in a tank battalion. His was one of three that made it into Berlin. The details are fuzzy, but my hat is off to your degree of military savvy.
