Remember that day that you was checking out a particular pic and you was like "WTFFFFF  " and you couldn't wait to hit the gym bcoz you was so mentally jacked & inspired? If not, then leave now, you're on the wrong forum fruitcake.lol :p

I myself have had too many of those instances to count - be it a pic in an old Muscle Builder mag from '79, or a new freaky pic posted on some top bodybuilding, powerlifting or fighting website this day. Btw, I'm not talking about any random pic that you may have just seen & liked for a minute and forgot about it. I'm talking about a pic that made a SIGNIFICANT impact on you - like one that motivated you to use 10 more lbs on the bar in your next workout, crank out 2 more reps, set a pw, add 1/2" to your arms over the next 2 months, etc - shit like that. :igok:

p.s...Lets keep this thread to iron related pics - I'm sure a pic of a hot ass inspires us all, but not here please. :)

I was about 16 or so when I seen this pic and was floored. It was on the cover of his book "Arnold: Education of a Bodybuilder". I think more than any other pic of him, this exact pic shows truly how freaky his biceps was. IMO, best biceps ever - even to this day. I had many workouts envisioning this pic as I curled away! :D

This pic shocked the bb world back in the day - still is a vintage pic. Had many killa chest workouts as a youngster seeing this freaky shot in my mind haha...

BAM!! This pic was one of the famous black-n-whites taken in '93 of Yates 6 weeks out from the O around 270 lbs. Made all the competition talk of who will take 2nd. I know those pics added new motivation for me for the next few months of kicking the iron haha. :D

Roelly Winklaar. Some of his shots are mind blowing. These are a couple of my favorites.

I think thats been PS'ed bro. Look at the left hand (his right) - alot of black outline. Also believe I seen this pic before but he was wearing trunks. Could be wrong. :p Either way, you're right - too many pics of Arnold thats been inspiring. :D

My bro inlaw gave me a shirt with this pic of Arnold on it (but the pic was from the waist up only) when I was 15. Think it was the promo shirt for the '77 O. I wore that shirt until it had so many fucking holes in it. My mom threw it away and I was soooo pissed off! :wallbash:

IMO he had the best front double bi of all time. Hard to believe he's still so much compared to guys even almost 40 years later. Classic lines and everything just flowed...

This pic inspired many of us. I bought the book & still have it.

Just as Arnie could hold his own & more today with chest & bi's, this guy would own most - if not all - in the leg dept. Inspired many of us to take leg training to a new level!

WTF up fellas? You mean me & a few others here are the ONLY ones that had a killa pic that jacked us up over the years ? :wackit: Post up fruitcakes!lol :D

No real motivating pictures for me except of myself looking soft and small, not sharing my shame :)

Reeves has always inspired me, unfortunately, I never met him.

Coleman - 287 lbs at the O in 2003 when everyones jaw dropped. He had put on 40 lbs of muscle from the previous O, and was peeled. IMO, the physique he presented that night was the freakiest ever seen and unbeatable...
