I've had that before but not as bad as it is now. I have been working out around it for a week but it seems to be getting worse. I have an appointment with the physical therapist tomorrow morning and will go from there.

Hope the Doc will fix it for you that will ease the pain. They can be very constricting at at times to do other things in life also.

What area is it mg?

Not sure but the pain is in my neck, my left trap and down my left arm.

I have the exact thing going on. I have had an EMG done and it did show nerve compression at C6/C7 which is causing the referred pain. I feel for you as I know this can be very painful. Mine goes into the hand/fingers to. Do you take anything for it?

Sorry to hear this MG. Prayers for you that things go well with the doc and you get fixed up.

The PT seems to think that me sleeping without a pillow caused this. I'm not taking anything. I use a hot water bottle to relax the muscles of my neck.

Thank you will. I haven't seen the doc yet but I have an appointment on Friday.

Well guys it isn't a pinched nerve after all. I had an ultrasound earlier this afternoon and it shows a rotator cuff tendinitis and a biceps tendinitis. Not sure how to work out around those injuries but I'll find a way ....

There are ways to do it and your level of toleration to the body parts being aggravating from time to time.

Thank you Widow. I will try pull downs, seated rows and other exercises tomorrow to see how it goes.
I tried the bench press earlier today but the pain was bad. I could do incline presses.

That's messed up MG. Too bad you could not run some low dose deca. But as a female I would not do it.

It is really frustrating not to be allowed to lift weights. I do cardio every day.

I started physio yesterday (ultrasound, electro stimulation, massage). It sucks (I pushed a heavy security door at work and the pain was really bad). I have another PT session tomorrow at noon.

The only thing good for injured tendons is REST and upping your intake of water and minerals, especially Manganese. (Not Magnesium)

See if you can find an A.R.T. Doc or at least a good chiropractor. A PT can't really do much for tendonitis.

excellent advice here...

I have tendonitis around my left elbow..I did get a cortisone shot and that helped a ton...so much so that i was pain free in 24 hours...but still had to rest it...

rest sucks for those of us who like to move but in my experience not properly attending to tendonitis can take a healable injury and turn it into a life long chronic problem..

good luck with your healing
