Anybody have spleen or pancreas problems?

Darn, thought I was done with health check-ups for the year but noticed these persistent pains in the upper left quadrant of my abs. Had hiatal hernia surgery 8 years ago (center abs) and they put in some mesh. For the past 2 months, the pain has been constant. I thought it was from the mesh, but recently (last month) the pain has gotten worse and is more upper/outer abs than near the center (where the mesh is). After some research I realized that's where my spleen and pancreas are so I went to the Doctor yesterday. Have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow. Other than blood in my urine, my recent (10/2/16) blood test was normal. I haven't been sick either, so my immune system isn't depressed. Still, I need to get some answers to this nagging issue. Anybody have trouble with their spleen or pancreas?

Lack of sex...that is the answer for any ailment.

No never had problems with either knock wood. Pray it isn't pancreas though.

Good news, had a complete abdominal ultra sound. Included kidneys, spleen, pancreas, etc, etc and all came up a non-issue. I guess the pain is from the mesh being irritated. Switched to my smallest frying pan today. Time for the gym membership. Lose some weight and trim the waist. Nose is looking better, gash on leg is healing nicely. I got the A-OK to move forward; the green light!

get your liver checked...your liver makes your body have a million symptoms that all look like its something else! trust me

Transition, yes, mess, not so much. Abhor drugs, not an alcoholic, religiously read 3-9 hours daily, (currently reading, "Studs Lonigan Trilogy," 1909-1938, very funny) no weird friends or sex perversions, constantly refining and eliminating the unnecessary. Mastered lifting years ago, don't want to rely on that anymore as a standard for viability. Fixed up my truck and motorcycle for the distance, plus got as many health concerns as there are checked and evaluated. More so I would say MRHTBD is aligning his ducks, and if he keeps on keeping on the same path would be perfectly setting himself up for a solid run. I cook my own food and don't have any booze at home. What on earth for?? Last night I baked two turkey breasts to perfection, along with mixed rice and vegetables. Finally hitting my stride and fully aware, so much so as to easily tell anyone not towing the line to step off. There's power in that... It's a good place to be! Indeed, Regardless at how limited or desperate I may pretend to sound, in retrospect, I have, indeed, arrived!

After reading your posts I think a BT might have it right. At least a case for discussion.

Darkness keeps it real, I like that. Even if I was a total fuck up, I would strive to improve to earn his respect. That, in itself, is a positive thing. This morning I weighed 276 after being over 270 for 2 weeks straight. Getting the other half of the stitches cut from the 3 inch scar on my right calf on Tuesday. The sunshine increases more every day until June 21st. In or out; talk is cheap!

You've had a rough road the last months. A wise man once said "if you're going through hell, whatever you do don't stop....keep walking."

But the dramatization of everyday de minimus triffles.....messy :)

I get it, time for a MC ride then meet the guys at the club for a food-fest and to watch the Eagles/Cowboys and Redskins games.
