Yeah, slowly but surely I have adjusted my diet since January, determined to get back to competition weight. Misplaced the scale somewhere in the garage 6 weeks ago, but kept at it. From Stromboli for lunch in February to pineapple yogurt over salad today with a navel orange for desert and water to drink. A handful of spinach for breakfast with some grapes and an apple these past weeks have been my mainstay. Not many carbs except beer, but even with that.... Well, today was instrumental, not only was it my 58th Birthday, but was the first time in two years I was down six beltloops on my belt. Yes, bottom of the belt; number 6! Don't have a scale, but to be down 6 beltloops is at least a 45 lb weight loss, from 283 in January to 238 today. Hmmm... yeah... l love spinach for breakfast, but have to admit my cheat snack; cashews, oh, the buttery smoothness... can't wait until tomorrow... but ya wanna know the best part? From all the dieting combined with the steelwork, damn, the Triceps and Biceps are back with a vengeance! .. nothing gained is lost, remember that ye neophytes, cover you will, but athletic shape beats to its own drum, as such point it is only necessary to remove the excess.
