So , who has a New Year resolution ? Who has goals that they wish to achieve in the new year whether it is a simple little goal or a long reached goal.
Is it something you want to obtain ? something you want to give up?
Finanacial goals or hopes of?
My Ol lady asked me last night ,she said to me?Whats your New Years Resolution ?
Honeslty I dont have one ,In my mind its good to set goals and to achieve them but with the daily struggles and constant demands of life, the added stress of obtaining somehting far unseen isnt reality .

Id like to have 100acres in the woods with a small cabin on it ,with a creek running through and a pond or 2.
Id like to be financially comfortable , not rich , not poor just comfortable enough to spend what I want .
Id like to be 6' tall instead of 5'8".

Theres many things in life I would like to have , Theres many things in life that I could set goals to obtain in 2013 but I think I will keep on doing what im doing as it seems to be working for now .

Whats your Goal sets for the New Year ?

I set goals every year. Some of them I actually obtain others, lets just say turn out to be a little more long term.
One thing for sure I'm getting my finances in order this year. I've gotten a bit sloppy financially. I'm making more money but my wife has all but quit working. So I'm going to take a Dave Ramsey Financial University course and implement his principles to get debt free and then the old lady can just quit work all together and maybe I can retire a few years earlier.

I don't know. I seem to have lost some of my drive this year. I feel lethargic. I don't really know why. I'd like to get on top of my game again.

i would like to be a better husband--i put my wife thru hell and she continues to stay with me like the saint she is

mine are pretty simple.

find a new job, get my own apartment, dump my cheating wife, try to date the chick I really like and who has been there for me for the past 6 month just like a sister.

Those all sound good.

I never couch it in terms of a "New Year's Resolution" but I always have goals:

The main one-to live another year and be at peace with myself and others.

Particular to here: To get bigger and stonger.

Since I have come here I anitcipate this goal will be well achieved.

If I see something that needs fixed I either leave it and let it kill me or, or if I cahnge it I do it right then on any given day. No sense in trying everything on Jan 1 and letting the rest of the year go to hell.

My Doc who treats lots of us BBs did a food sensitivity test on me in June. It came back sensitive for most of the carb family, breads, pastas, yeast, and all of my shakes I so depend on. Effective August 1 they all got cut from my diet. Pretty much only green carbs. The diet was like a keto diet. Dropped from 230 to 191. Actually felt great and looked great also. And abs appeared for the first time ever.
Before the diet your description sounds like me.
Nov. 1 -was allowed to re-introduce the carbs. Back up to 230 and still have abs- large and in charge but Im feeling mysteriously crappy again like your description.. I am wondering if it may be Gluten allergy. I will find out.
Also started a new cycle. So many variables make it hard to pinpoint.

Hope you get to feeling better Glycomann.

My goal is to eat and live healthier than I did last year. I need to work on my diet (less carbs, more protein, more vitamins and minerals). I will do more cross training (body weight exercises) and less weight lifting (I know that a lot of people at the boards will be disappointed by that decision but I really need to think about my body first).

Never been one for resolutions because of some arbitrary date, if you're not fully ready for change you're setting yourself up for failure imo

This twice over!
Actually, this things I initiated 5 months ago are finally coming within my grasp. If given just a little more push, and I'll be in a new universe.
I am resolute to give that push, and also want spend more time reading/practicing math with my kids, and making new friends.
