June 28 (ABC7) ? Petaluma police and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a Santa Rosa man on Saturday for allegedly possessing more than 70,000 doses of GHB, known as the "date rape drug."

Federal agents were tipped off to a 110-pound steel keg by DHL Express. An agent posing as a clerk delivered it to 35-year-old Thomas Miller of Santa Rosa, who was then arrested.
Investigators say that keg was filled with ten gallons of dihydrofuranone, also known as GHB, a chemical used to make the date rape drug. It was enough for 70,000 doses.
Police also searched Miller's Santa Rosa home on Borden Villa Drive and allegedly found GVL, a substance similar to GHB, in 14 one-quart bottles. Miller works as a personal trainer and GVL is used by body builders "to keep them cut."
Neighbors weren't surprised, but were afraid to go on camera.
GHB is often dropped in drinks to incapacitate women. It is also used by bodybuilders to increase muscle size.
Congress made it illegal in 2000.
Miller is being held in Sonoma County jail on $50,000 bail.
