9000 square feet

Just finishing up the painting. Over 9000 square feet and 23 gallons of paint. Just finishing the trim now, then it's rip up the carpets, secure the flooring, and prep for refinishing.
Already ordered the kitchen and will need to get one carpet replaced over a cement pad. Any suggestions as to underlayment?
Wife says we can't move in furniture until the house is finished. Guess I'll get used to sleeping on my Army cot, hope her parents don't mind them (wife and kids) there for awhile, HA!
This could be good...beer, fireplace, more beer, and a tad more paint.
It's gonna be a Happy Holiday after all

The house is 2600 square feet. Eleven rooms and I only painted 8 of them (two coats of primer, one coat of finish).

You're the man. I'm looking at me and the wifey getting a small two bedroom townhouse or condo. Empty nest syndrome.

With young kids like in your situation, I admire your making a good "nest" for them to grow up.
