I have been thinking about this off and on for a few years and even brought it up with my wife. She kind of blew it off.

I'm on HRT for life and with that will come a decent libido. My wife on the other hand already has lost most of her's at 42. There is no way I would stop and be miserable but I'm thinking how miserable am I going to be without an outlet? It already isn't very pleasant.

I'm right there with you LL. my wife understands I'm a sexual tyrannosaur so she has given in to my dilemma I put it in her or I put it somewhere
 
I have had heart to hearts with a lot of guys about this cause it gets bad and then they find some strange outside their marriage cause they can't take it anymore and then guess what? They are the bad guy.
I would say talk to your wife and tell her straight...this is serious. If you've already done it, do it again and be earnest. When they took those vows they expected and still expect you to be faithful...but you can only be faithful if they are faithful and provide what was promised and expected...and that is called sexual cooperation. It is a right by virtue of the marriage and when it is denied by a spouse consistently and over time...they are the first to be unfaithful, not you.
If your spouse isn't feeling well or has libido problems talk about it with her and encourage her to seek help...which is available. To continuosly deny a spouse this privilege of marriage and then expect them to somehow stick it out and stay celibate is baloney. Further, to act all mad and bent out of shape when someone starved does finally go out is BS.
Everbody has their times when they are not "in the mood" but if its all the time....sit down and say: "I love you but this is a real problem and we need to do something!"
If you break and have an affair, trust me that she will not just blow it off.
So don't let her blow this off.

My wife and I have figured out this dilemna. There are times, usually once a week, when we have sex. Then there are other times during the week when She lets me get a poke. It's about like masterbation but at least it's in a cooter.

I understand this completely. In my situation the mutual participation sex is about one or twice a month. The masturbating with her dry thing is maybe once a week. Afterwards I wonder why I just don't watch hot porn and skip the middlewoman. :)
 
I think they're just sick of looking at our abs and rock hard pecks and thighs and just want to think about small children and shoes.

It could be the pin. She didn't really say but she doesn't like the idea of taking weird things. I guess you still get the same initial sides like bloating, etc.?

but i did meet the wife when she was 22-23 so i do have that in my favor--but she is know 30 LOL!
 
And sometimes, as is my case, the relationship is over and what's left is a loose relationship of convenience. The thought of having relations with you partner leaves you both anxious and nauseous in equal measure. Unfortunately in this circumstance one of the two participants are entirely oblivious to the issue.

If I remember right you sent it to me. I used some of it, did not like it, then gave it to Daniels who tried to inject his wife with it and she tried to knife him, who then gave it to the guy who owns the gym, who injected his wife with it, who promptly fucked his brains out for a day and a half.
