Thoughts?

Have to a new alternator for my 6.1L Charger. Remanufactured is cheaper, but is the quality as good?

I've used a lot of Remanufactured auto parts over the years, never had a problem. They all came with some type of warranty.

Should be ok. If it was a starter I'd say go new. I've had bad luck with many reman starters.

On a motor like that personally I prefer new manufacturers product. But with alternators the Ford brand on my mustang gt kept burning up so I went to discount. It lasted 10 years or longer. I just replaced it again late last year.

My luck is hit and miss. If it's a newer car I would probably go for new. The remanufactured are warranted for some time, usually like 30 days so you aren't covered for very long and you might end up doing the job again. If the warranty is like a year then it's not so bad but still.

It was like another 25 bucks to extend the warranty from 90 days to a full year.

I got lifetime on the new one, so I just went with that one in case I got a lemon within the next few years.

You'll laugh but yes I do. It was in there when i bought the car. Probably why i eat alternators up.
You can't beat Allman Brothers, Deep Purple, Doors, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc with some good bass.
