Another Trespasser shot in my front yard!

Here's a Picture of a funky looking 8 /4x4 point buck I shot in the front yard Monday, Kinda weird cause he could be paterned this time of year.. He had been coming to the same place and eating(front yard) for the past 3 days prior to his execution for trespassing.. Obviously he has a nutrition/ mineral deficiency by looks of the rack. He was between 6 & 7 and only 4 teeth and I doubt it would have lived through the winter and wouldn't have lived this long without berries and grass.. Oh BTW it's amazing just how loud a 25/06 is when shot inside your doorway @ 06:45 on a monday morning, I'm hoping i'll be out of the dog house by Christmas Day! I think the neighbors are still mad to but I'm only worried about Momma.. lol :cry:

Well, I used to tag out every year and go back and get extra doe tags until I had the knee surgerys/replacements now that I can't climb the ridge behind my house very well I usually just either hunt from the back porch or like this one see them frequenting a area like the front yard or field accross the street and blast them. So far this is only my first one but really haven't felt like dragging one or I could have killed at least 6 or 7.. Last year I shot 2 off the back porch while sitting there with 26 staples in my knee lol.. It really just depends on if my son is here when I see them. If he's home I'll step outside shoot them and make him climb the hillside,gut them & drag them to the house but since this one was right out front I had to do it all myself..lol
 
He does look sick Good freezer food thou. Nobady can trace 1 shot. Your neighbors can just assume if was you. When is deer season over for you?
 
I'm sure they had a pretty good idea it was me since I'm always blasting something and it's usually real loud like a AR15 or AR10, The thing that got Momma all worked up wasn't the fact I woke her up @ 06:45 instead of 07:00 I think it was the fact the 25-06being shot from the living room with just the muzzle of the gun sticking out the door and the really loud muzzle blast is one hell of a Alarm clock! lmao... Season ends mid January but since I'm hunting on my property I can shoot them anytime I just won't shoot anything once the doe start carring little ones..

I'm assuming you are much larger than your neighbors so fuk em. Now for the wife, jewelry should make it all better.
 
sorry to hear about the knee.. been there and never want to do it agian..

I have to pick up a short range rifle.. I have to be real careful with my 7mm mag.. You really have to be aware of whats beyond your kill with this one..
I've been looking at a 270. It shoots alot flater than most
