he passed away at 39 years old of heart problems . he was one of the 1st if not the 1st 1000 pound squatters and held the bench record for many many years [ mid 700s]

ps he did the bench reverse grip.

Damn, that is sad to hear. He was sponsored by Hotstuff back in the day, same guy I think. Do have alink to the whole story?

AC was an all around good guy, I seen him perform in person once, although I didn't get the chance to meet him. He was a nice guy but quite obese, he had like four chins. I think that his extremely heavy weight, much of which was fat, led to his heart problems as much or more than anything else.

Wonder why; heart problem(AS)....so sad for such a young life....

I seem to doubt if you could contribute this to AS. The guy, as lifts has pointed out was extremely overweight and that alone puts tremendous stress on the heart. From what I have read about him, he was natural. I could be wrong, cause I personally did not know him.
