Just ordered some glycerol from TP. I plan on using it in my water bottles during the day say 2tbs per 500ml of water. OK I will bump this up for my pre and pwo shakes. I drink 1 gal a water a day and about 64oz gatorade and milk and so forth. My preworkout shake will be 2 scoops way with glutamine and glycerol and gatorade. PWO will be the same but with dextrose added in the mix. Im just wondering if this looks ok. I plan on adding more supps to my pre and pwo shakes when money is better. We are adopting a child so money is tight. Also where does sea salt come into this?

Thanks

Not sure how it will work I would think some citrulline malate in the mix would really make a difference but let us know.

2BF: Doses look good but titrate upwards to give your stomach time to acclimate to this stuff. The stuff is SWEET as crap too so before adding any flavored stuff, take a sip to feel it out.

PS: Im not a big fan/believer in glutamine but that's an argument for another day. BCAA's will do you a world better than Glutamine.

No clue on the sea salt.

Thanks bro! I just use the Glutamine for my UC it is has benefits for that.

Come-on, Fred, it's like being in the Army all over again.
First it was the UK hat, ok, I got that, but now it's UC?
Damn, with all my education it still amazes me how much of a simpleton I can be at times.

Ok, what's UC?

I am a believer in Glutamine, though results are not immediately apparent, it aids in immune system recovery and is pretty cheap insurance against soft tissue injury, esp when you're moving the weight 2BFred does. I also agree that BCAA's are far more important and I do see noticeable decrease in PWO soreness after using them the night before.

I never go out of my way to buy sea salt as I pay more attention to the amount of sodium than the source. Can't see how refined sea salt could be any more beneficial than plain old refined table salt.

Doesn't sea salt have more minerals? Like zinc, iodine, etc?
I spent 5 seasons as a beach lifeguard, and was in the ocean swimming practically daily. I was never as healthy as I was in that environment. I attributed this, among other things, as a result of inadvertently swallowing salt water as I swam.
Table salt, though, give me heartburn so I rarely use it.

Sea salt don't provide adequate Iodine .
I'm highly allergic to Iodine and do sea salt as an alternative .
I mostly use Bragg's liquid amino's for that salty taste .
