Like the rest of you, I love my music. I am curious to know about some of the nicer audio gear out there. I saw a documentary the other day of some stereo equipment as it was made by hand.
I became curious as to what it is about good gear that makes the difference in sound quality. What is the bar to entry? what would an entry level, upper end system cost?
I the Bose set up in my office for my computer; and it's decent for what it is. But I understand that there is much better; and that audiophiles tend to turn up their noses at Bose.
I have a sitting room that I'd like to put a nice system in.
But have no idea where to start.
