Anyone Know How To Repair An Ipod Touch?

So..I have an ipod touch..all of the sudden when attempting to turn it on I got a very light almost un-noticable apple logo on the screen and nothing else and it wont turn on..So i reset it a couple times by holding the power button and the button on the from at the same time for 10 seconds..after a couple of tries I did get it to turn on BUT either it would turn off after a few seconds OR the touchscreen wouldnt work OR the image would be in reverse like a mirror??WTF anyone know how to repair these things or is it just screwed at this point.

I havent a clue man , Im lucky to figuire out how to turn on my laptop everyday .....
If it had wheels , legs or boobs or a motor , I would be all over suggestions for you . But electronics arent my cup of Tea , However I do know that once my daughters went through the washing machine and dryer , it didnt ever work again .
 
plug it into the charger and leave it untouched for 2 days and then do the reset by pressing the top and circular buttong.
 
or just bring it into an apple store and they will fix it for you or give u a new 1
 
it just sounds like the battery died too far. Apple products if you let the battery die beyond certain point, it takes a while to recharge it.
