I started at 5, I grew tried of chasing women.

Actually I started lifting my senior year of high school.

About 15-16 and it wasn't until mid 20's that I learned how to lift right and recently learned how to eat right...

got my 1st Weider bench and boxing bag for x-mas when I was 13. Kept boxing throughout all them years. I have been training serious since 20 years of age.

I LOVE the gym and training all out every single workout, hurts more now but Im too stubborn to lift like a pussy.

I started with my first barbell and bench at 13/14. I was fortunate to have some family in the game that showed me the importance of good form early on in my lifting days

Got my first gym membership at a gym my mom trained at when I was 12. I would ride the city bus to the gym on days during the summer when my mom was at work.

I started in the 7th grade 1980, Had broke a 300# bench by 20 then had a bad car
wreck and took over a decade off then started again, then the knee surgerys/replacements sidelined me again..but I'm back jack!

we're all pretty similar in age when we started, cool! Got my son into the gym at 14 also

At age 12, I was so thin, at about 120 lbs, the principal sent me home with a bottle of chewable protein wafers and a note to my partents that I needed a set of weights. I started working out at age 12 and took pains to use correct form. By age 15 I had gained over 50 lbs, weighed about 180 lbs @ 6', and had 30" waist and 15 " arms.

My daughter has always had an unusual amount of energy, and when she was 3 years old I started doing pushups and calisthenics with her, holding Sarah by her ankles and making her do incline situps. By age 4 she had a better 6-pack than most guys at the gym.

By age 8 she looked like a young Brittany Spears, but loved to brag that she was tougher than any of the boys in her class. One night at the gym, she goes over to the wrist roller and sees it only has 20 lbs on it. She says "that must be for a kid my age," and I made her a bet she couldn't wrist roll it all the way up while sitting on the curl machine and extending her arms over the preacher bench. 15 minutes later, and the last couple of inches took some extreme effort, but I owed her a new Bratz doll. Imagine how proud I felt when a 275 lb powerlifter exclaimed "Damn! That little girl's awesome!"

Unfortunately now she's boy crazy and doesn't want to work out or do anything that would make her appear to be a tomboy. :D

I started at 21, been addicted ever since. I got my son into it at 13 but he lacks dedication. Does it until he starts looking good and quits.

I didnt start untill my late 20's , Id say around 26 or so . I had to find something that was healthier and less LE trouble than my previous lifesstyle , I found that lifting and training and eating right was changeing my appearance and loved it . I was always 5'8" at like 150lbs and was scrawney little puke . It wasnt untill I was at 32 yrs old I learned that AAS could help me considerabley so I started studying , researching and deciding which way to go , at 33 yr old I started AAS and now Im sitting at a sexy 202lbs and looking tight as hell ... ...Im destined for 235lbs .......

Been lifting on and off since I was 16. Got a bit more serious about weight training in the last 2 years, at 41 years old. Basically, went through a lifesty;e change ~ 3 years ago and became addicted to the gym. Ironically, I'm bigger and stronger now than ever before. I learned how to lift, eat and rest properly. Also, running a 20 week test/deca cycle doesn't hurt :)

Same kinda situation as BikerTrash mentioned above... 5'8" and was around a buck and a half for most of my adult life. I like sitting at 190-ish and my goal is to reach 200lbs at ~ 10%BF. Going to take a while, but I WILL get there.
