Does anyone have direct experience with blood flow restriction training? I understand the idea behind it but wanted to get input from those that have specific experience with it.
 
I've used a dick ring before. Does that count? Same priciple but I don't think it makes it bigger, just holds blood in there longer.
 
I've done it a few times on arms. Strapped up and did a light set of 30 reps. Waited about a minute and then proceeded to do 3 sets of 15 reps with a 30 second break. Took straps off, felt an unGodly pump and biceps were sore for a day or so. I like this and think maybe injury can come from straps being too tight and/or left on too long. It's different and in our world, different is good!
 
First off, I have been reading that it can be quite the asset when you have had an injury and help speed up the muscle repair. My concern is that my feet have been in casts for several months and now my calves are like toothpicks, literally. I looking to try and get my calves caught up.

Secondly, I am wondering if the cock ring would work on my ex wife's neck?

I don't think you would have anything to lose by trying the method. Keep us posted.
 
One thing I forgot is that you will look like a damn idiot in the gym doing it. Part of the gig.
 
My physical therapist is doing some research on it as he has an interest in it also. He does have a PT in his office that has some experience with it, we are going to sit down next week and discuss.
