Captain America casted

The roles for the newest Marvel Comics film have (supposedly) recently been decided. First Chris Evans as Captain America and Hugo Weaving as his Nazi counterpart Red Skull. I think both are great choices and Evans has like 2 years to add 20-30 pounds on him for the role. He was the human torch in the fantastic 4 movies btw, so hes also kindof familiar with that style of movie.

Others have already been casted for multi-movie deals with Marvel also to do the future Avengers movie in 2012. Chris Hemsworth was casted as Thor a few months back for his own Thor movie as well which is filming right now in new mexico, Robert Downey Jr. returns as Iron Man, Don Cheadle comes in as War Machine, Scarlett Johanssen as Black Widow, Sam Jackson returns in Nick Fury, and Edward Norton may return as the Hulk.

Sounds like a stacked cast to me :elephant:

yeah he was in those 2 they did. But Theyre going to reboot that and start all over with a different cast. I think he would do good.. like I said he has the feel of being in 2 superhero movies and worked alongside other actors portraying a "team". Hopefully that would help towards when they film the avengers since captain america is supposed to be the leader. I dunno

and why would they reboot the F4 series? Those movies were good aside for the fact they royally fucked up with galatctus

and why is nick fury black? why was the kingpin black in daredevil? do these producers not care about this things atleast being something like the comic books?

I agree about Galactus. And I like the kingpin,,,who else besides Michael Clarke Duncan could physically fit the bill. I'm underwhelmed with Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury, but he's not as bad as David Hasselhoff.

Galactus was an epic fuck up, when i saw that stupid cloud i almost left and I even said "are u fucking kidding me" out loud on accident cause i was so shocked thats the best they could do. Galactus is an actual person/machine that lives in space, not a cloud!

The thing is i think michael clark duncan was a good kingpin, but they didnt stick to the comic. Same with nick fury

if youre going to make a movie based on comic books, please try to keep it as close to the comics as possible

to a real fan, its an insult to do otherwise

I guess some people didnt like the F4 movies, I liked em. Theyre even rebooting the spiderman and daredevil movies as well. New actors and storyline. I agree about galactus though. Hes supposed to be like an alien god that was around before our universe was created.. instead of a cloud. Who knows why.. at least silver surfer was good.

the kingpin thing was wierd but yeah, who else couldve done it? Kingpins a bigass dude. Not all fat, but has alot of muscle/strength. They chose sam jackson because they used a black nick fury in the more recent "ultimate" storylines in comics. Why hes black? No clue.. nick fury has been around since the time of or before captain america in the 40's. That would be like making superman be will smith... kindof
