Carpal tunnel!

I have been having some problems with my wrists and now Doc is sending me to a specialist to determine whether I have carpal tunnel or not...Damn it! If there is anybody on the board who has had it or know somebody who has, please give me some input as to what to expect if I have it and if I have to get surgery as any input would be greatly appreciated...guess I will have to stay away from the porn section for a while

I have CTS a couple of years ago, bro. I work with public transit and was refueling the CNG buses when suddenly, it would hurt for me to make a fist and I couldn't grip the fuel nozzles. Basically, I was having sharp pains in my wrist and it would go up to my elbow. Unless if it's severe, you may not need surgery since CTS is more of a nerve injury. The doctor will, if they didn't already, give you a wrist/hand brace and prescribe some pain killers to you. So far, I haven't had anymore problems with it.
