The family was in terrible straits all day yesterday.
Our 12 year old cat has been looking very bad lately.
On Saturday night she ran out as I opened the door.
I didn't see her as I didn't have the light on yet.
We couldn't find her on Sunday and began to get frantic as she would barely go 3 feet from the door ever and was always an inside cat.
We were very sullen at dinner and were tired from searching the neighborhood all day.
The worst was having no closure as we were afraid she left to go die somewhere.
Couldn't sleep last night.
I was calling for her after midnight but eventually laid down tossing.
Around 1:15AM I heard the wife come down and open the door, then I heard the cat.
Never thought I would be so happy to see a cat in my life.
Turns out she looked great.
She was frisky and in a great mood.
Wow, she was spaded but I could swear by the way she was acting she just got laid.
It's my wife's cat but I will be much nicer to her from now on.
I didn't realize how much a family pet could matter.
I definately know for sure now.
