Cataract Surgery

Had my cataract surgery yesterday morning. Slept and ate the rest of the day. I can see again out of my left eye. Have been totally blind in that eye for a little while.
Went back today for post op check up. Dr. said I can resume normal activities. So I asked can I lift weights? He said, sure, I don't see why not. My wife told him, but Dr he lifts five hundred pounds. The dr said I don't know about that. Most of my patients just play golf. I told him I like to be able to pick the golf cart up in case it falls over. So he said I could lift weights, but not five hundred pounds for a day or two.
So I'm taking the rest of the week off from training, even though I don't have to so the old lady will be happy.
One awesome thing is being able to see again. I found out that my old lady is still pretty hot, and I don't even have to say for her age.

I'm glad everything worked out like it did for you buddy.. It will do you some good to lay around and not lift for a week..
This will give you more time to chase the wife around the house like you did when you was younger.. Now you might even be able to hit the right hole without feeling around for it..lol

To be fair I didn't say whether it was a pie eating contest or a hot dog eating contest, so I'll just plead the 5th amendment on that, on the grounds that I might just have to admit I'm fat!
