Cell phone junk mail

Anyone else have this problem? I keep getting junk mail text messages popping up on my cell phone... drives me insane. At one time I was gettign 10-12 of them per day - but now it is down to maybe 2-3 a week...
Anyone have any suggestions? Sprint (my cell carrier) wasn't real helpful...
