90% of you are going to say yes..it's very important and you need it to get a good job and yada yada. Well what if I told you that a high percentage of College grads actually end up jobless for years because they can't get into their Field of work. It's really horrible when you think about it. You go in and spend thousands of dollars for an education, and what do most have to show for it? A job that someone with no education has as well. I'm not putting school down for everyone, but for me, shit I've spent thousands on school and have zero to show for it. Not because I haven't tried to get into my field but because who you know or who's back you scratch has more importance then what you know. What is this world really turning into? It's like the movie Sin City, everyone and everything is bought out, and if you want something you have to kiss some ass or know someone well. The land of opportunity..doesn't sound like it to me folks..

the main reason i think its important is just b/c of life expirence....

Buff you read my mind word for word brother. I graduated college in december of 04. So far college hasnt paid off for me one bit. If I had it to do over again I would NOT have went to college. My family isnt wealthy like some of the others I know, so I had to pay my own way through college. What ever scholarships didnt cover I had to pay with my money or loans. So here I am with a degree and nothing to show for it. I currently landed a job but it kinda sucks. Its in retail sales and I can already see that its not for me. Plus the pay sucks!!

But I do understand where you are coming from. The majority of my friends that have graduated cant find work either. A few of them are working at banks being a teller for gods sake!! $7.50 an hour. :hahaha:

i gotta go for my profession, but i still got my senior year of HS to make it through

i was one of the ones who opted not to go to college. all of my friends that went still live with their parents, rent and make at the most 40-50k a year. i own 2 houses, have a 50k truck and make alot more than that working for myself listening to no ones BS.

oh yeah, they are in debt 30k too.

not trying to brag just thought i was a good example. i felt guilty not going to college so it drove me to do something else with that 4 years time.

the life experiences i missed out on do haunt me a bit though.

It is hard especially when you pay a shitload of money for the classes and then almost as much for the text books, which just happen to be written by the Professor of that class... SHAME !!!, and you end up with the same job as someoneelse with no college and then on top of that they are ahead of you on the job because they started there when you were in college !

Not always the case but happens all to often.....

I never went to college, so any job I do in life will suck anyway, so your damned if you do, damned if ya don't

All I ever learned in college was how to................. never mind... I learned that in preschool.

Heck I missed out on lots of things and I went to college!!!!! lol. I regret it to this day. Back then I worked really hard in school and thought that one day it would pay off for me. I didnt go to parties much like my buddies. If I knew I would be working at a shitty job after college I would have partied lilke my friends. I've heard from lots of people that college is suppose to be the best times of your life. I wish I could go back and have a little more fun than what i did...
