fios is cheaper than my cablevision bill by 30 a month and i get more channels and my internet speed is 4x faster

both cable and fios do the same thing you sign a contract for 1-2 years after that your bill goes way up from all the cost coming off your promotional rate. A lot of people switch back and forth to get the promotional rates and get cool gifts like a free netbook.

There is no contract with IO and no termination fees. You have to pay like $200 to get rid of Fios its bogus. Everyone thinks its great then all the fees come out of the woodwork.

I never had to pay any fees when i switched from verizon fios(had for about 2 years though) to comcast cable but both companies did the same shit to me when my promotional rates ran out the bill jumped about $100
