Was driving my F-150 in a dream, saw a Harley half on/off the road with a guy laying in front of it. Thought I would help him out so he didn't get picked up. I stopped and asked if he was alright? I startled him, he got up and I realized it was my best friend who died last July. I ran back to the truck as he tried to grab my arm, "Are you trying to get my bike? he said as I shook off his grip. As he continued to try to grab my shoulder through the door window I pulled out and high-tailed it. How is it he didn't recognize me? He was a troubled soul, no wonder with his ex-cheating wife insisting on his Harley when all of us knew it was intended for Tyler; his only son, now 25. Troubled souls... let them rest! I say, move along. Went on a 2 1/2 "hour" hike yesterday through the Watchung Reservation in NJ alone. It was easy and inspiring. Each step leaning me more and more. Pushed a lot of steel today, still not free of last week's effort. Today I hit the loop below the first loop on my belt, the one I put in my favorite belt 5 years ago. First time since. Left me with the thought; I CAN get there from here!
