dislocated shoulder?

My shoulder has been hurting since the altercation at school. My left arm was up holding her wrist and when I "fell" on her she straight-armed her right arm, cocking my shoulder back to take most of the brunt of the force on my end. O' course, the back of her head and neck got the force on her end. I'm kind of ashamed, embarrassed anyway. Couldn't have ended in any other way. Like in "Cool Hand Luke," "He wants it, he gets it!"
So I didn't go to work yesterday or today. I went to workman's comp because my left shoulder keeps dropping out of socket. I have to carry things or keep my shoulder tight. The moment I relax then out it goes. I had x-rays and the doc said it wasn't dislocated, but they were suspiciously quiet. Even had to take and extra one or two for something. Now the doc said I need an MRI. Didn't say what he saw but, hmmm, you know. Either way, he said no work until next Friday, or 2 days after the MRI. So here I sit, but thank goodness I don't have to go into that hell for a week.

Your going to have to face it old fella , your getting old and brittle .....J/K.....
But in all seriousness , your going to have to start taking it easy on yourself ...... I read the biography you posted earlier today and thats quite a ruff life you have lived and are living .
Take care of that injury , stay home and recoop , spend time with that family of yours and work more on that awesome home you have been refurbishing .
Good luck with the further doc appoints and good luck ........BK

That bites a big one!
Hope there is no surgery in your future.

Good luck brother, I hope you can get out without surgery but a MRI don't sound good..The Doc seen something he didn't like..

Your time off if around here would take you right into summer vacation .. My eldest is home today because none of the classes she takes has any finals today.. So she don't have to go...LOL I wish it was that way when we went to school.. (back in the stoneage)
