Was in the pool today with my kids and I noticed I can float.
Not cool!
Forget about BF %, like Arnold said, "If it jiggles, it's fat!"
If I can float then I'm definately over 15% anyway. Ughh
Damn, I went 40-some years as a sinker, but now I float, hmmm.
Definately not the lean 220 guy I was last summer.
Oh well, something else to shoot for, regardless of injuries.
Well, post up, do you float or sink?

Yeah, I sink. As a matter of fact, I would never drown in a pool, I just sink to the bottom and walk out...lol

Funny you mention this, I used to be on the diving team for 4 years back in school and before my surgery I had my youngest Daughter at her second year of swim lessons at the YMCA and we've been working on her breast and backstroke well when I got tired the other day I rolled over on my back and to my surprize without moving my arms and legs I started to fucking sink, I was like WTF so I tried and tried to float but the titanium knee just wouldn't let me.. So it's either keep moving a little or sink for me!

believe it or not, i was a swimmer for high school and ymca from age 12-graduation...went to ymca nationals summer after junior and senior high school years and high school state jr and sr years...today i couldn't do a length i bet without sinking or cramping or being out of breath

Yeah, Irish, but those years in the pool probably added years to your life. At least it provided a good foundation for body-building.

funny that all our swimmers lifted and were bigger than the wrestlers in high school...other schools were scared of us lol...i was smaller but always built like a gymnast with legs...that was 20-25 years ago though...i get winded walking a flight of stairs now with all this muscle mass...my girl loves it though...that's what's important to me

I have always sank like rock even though my bodyfat is more than ample to keep me floating. Even in swim quals in the corps I had to kick like a rabid monkey to keep my head above water.
