I have been super-busy for so long I forgot how to relax.
With my shoulder injury I haven't even mowed the lawn in 3 weeks.
Getting looks from the neighbors.
Not really but I do feel somewhat guilty.
I can go to the pool and swim around but I can't mow the lawn?
What's with that?
I'll tell you what, I just want to hang around and entertain my 2 daughters is what.
The six year old joined the swim team and I love taking her to the pool. We have great fun together.
I swim underwater and she stands on my back like a surfboard, but I always make her chase me to catch me first.
We get a lot of swimming in.
I don't take full strokes because of shoulder limitation, but lessoning down has made me realize how much of my kid's lives I've missed.
Going to change that.
Course, I'm about the only Dad that goes to morning swim practice, and you'ld think it was cool, but the mother's sit around gabbing and it drives me nuts.
I go sit by myself but they always seem to set up their chairs near me.
Occasionally one will walk close enough just to say "Hi?" Lol, whatever.
Also, I can't find my IPad so I can't even blast over them with my headphones.
Oh well, whoever said that doing nothing was easy?
