I don't believe you need fruits in a diet or I wouldn't think you would want them in there but someone is telling me this:

"its still important to eat fruits and those kinds of sugars,
fructose is the sugar available in fruits
its important to allow the body to see sugars here and there to keep insulin sensitivity at a good level
or else yo-yo effect sets it "

So whats your opinion.

Well currently I consume fruit PWO and sometimes in the morning, but this is my offseason. During a strict diet regimen I do not consume fruits. On occasion I will eat a pear or two during the day mainly PWO. They are lowest on the GI index for fruits plus they are high in fiber. But all in all, I do not recommend them to someone on a strict diet.

I'm with mpresiv on this one. Off season I would have fruit with brekfast and PWO. During a strict diet, I have none. And definitely not on a contest diet. When I did have fruit, it would be low-med on the GI index. I'm a big banana fan, and they are usually med on the scale.

I'm not a big fan of fruit. Other then an apple Pre WO every now and then, I don't eat any..

Now there has been talk that Fructose only goes towards Liver Glycogen storage, and after you liver of 60-80 grams is full then is goes towards adipose storage if not burned immediately, some others say different especially talking to prep guys, for me its just post and thats it, my body is 100% perfect at storing anything in excess as adipose tissue...
