Yeah....as far as the calming effect? I was wondering if it was anything noticable.
 
I take GABA, 5htp, melatonin, ashwagandha & Benedryl before bed time to try to help me sleep. Usually I have a lot of trouble sleeping, especially during the week.

I can’t say it positively helps but some nights seem better than others. It’s so cheap I keep using it just Incase it is helping.

Hopefully others will chime in.
 
I got some and tried it....I think it definitely helps me sleep. As far as a calming or relaxation affect I don't feel anything.
 
I'm using gabapentin for severe itchy skin a side effect of my chemo and elevated bile levels due to my pancreatic cancer surgery. It's the only thing that helps with the itchy skin and helps me sleep. I'm working with a liver specialist and have an appointment with a dermatologist in two weeks. The Pharmacist was kind enough to get me the actual prescription medication.

Demi was referring to the amino gamma butyric acid if I remember correctly.

I know what he was referring to. Gabapentin is a agonist to the GABA receptors and about a 100 times more effective than GABA. That's why I posted the link.
