Mine was great to Oz, I've had my friend brandons daughters the last 3 weekend (every since he passed) and this morning I made the family biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes,a couple home grown sliced mators..
The wife and I took all 3 girls to church then a picknic at the river then we took flowers to their parents gravesite where their Dads headstone was placed this week. This is the first time they've been there since the funeral it was a sad day but it was really good for them to get a little closure.. then I took them back to their grandmother for school tomorrow.. So I had a great day considering...

Excellent to hear everyone is having a good day . Weekends are suppose to be relaxing and enjoyable .
I spent my mornings and nights in the deer woods with my Ol lady on one stand and me on another,,,,Ah so peaceful and quiet ....
This is my favortie time of year......

Had a great weekend with the wife and the two kids. Went to a family reunion at an old cabin on Saturday, up in the mountains. Not our families but old friends of mine. Got there late but stayed past dark at the campsite with the kids running around with broom sticks like witches and the wife and I actually staning arms around each other by the fire. Went into Gettysburg after 9PM and stayed at a nice hotel. Went swimming until 11 PM. Sunday morning went down at 5Am for coffee for the wife and had the place to myself. Made fresh waffles with eggs and orange juice. Gave her her coffee and went back to sleep. Finally got some quality sleep. Up with the girls for more breakfast, then a morning swim before check out and hit the outlets. Felt good to be a family again. Wasn't quite sure what was going on but didn't want to spoil a good day. Went down to Hershey for more outlets than to Mt. Gretna for a hike. Rolled into NE Phila about 7:30, got dinner, and watched a Barbie movie with one girl on each arm. Even Mom hung out between laundry loads.
Not sure what is happening but am rolling with it and playing it out.
Back to the grind tomorrow and am in the dog house at work but it was great to get off the grid for a weekend, gave me a new perspective. Think I'll do that more often.
