Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaugn, Richie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page.

ohh hell and I forgot about Kirk Hammett, Dimebag Darrell and Ted Nugent...I know most dont think Nuge & Dime are anything special but I personally like em. damnit :D..

awesome solo at the end of fade to black, 98% of the time leads me into a full on air guitar with the speakers cranked lol

any of you guys play? i was inspired by hendrix when i was 12 or so, and by the time i was 16 i had picked up the same guitar he played and still play it today, the white american standard strat.

ok i think it is all a matter of preference but those videos i listed at pretty cool

What about Eric motherfuckin' Johnson.

Who dosen't like cliffs of dover, come on.

Slash as a person seems like good peeps.

For awesome writing in no particular order I have always liked Alex Skolnick, Jason Becker, Kirk Hammett (of course), Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Holt & Rick Hunolt, Satch, a barrage of other metal riffmasters.

I also am fond of flamenco/spanish guitar, Charo actually has a very nice tune - Sue?os de Espa?a, she studied under Andre Segovia.
